There has been a lot of disturbance and conversation on how crucial or not crucial leaf cognition metrics are for Google Search rankings. I am not getting into it current but appearance at my archives. Google has made a lot of wishy-washy statements concerning the importance of leaf experience and Core Web Vitals. Google stated We don’t verify any of the things [page cognition or center web vitals] as a straightforward ranking factor - now they verify center web vitals as a ranking factor. This goes rear to the disturbance (which is motionless there notwithstanding Google not wanting to accept it) about how the changes to get helpful satisfied direction and leaf cognition documentation from a twelvemonth or so ago. Google shortly following that disturbance told us page cognition is a ranking indication but not a ranking system. Danny Sullivan, Google's Search Liaison, stated rear then, "It fair meant these weren't ranking *systems* but alternatively signals used by another systems." Google equal removed the leaf cognition report from Search Console.

Here is what all new metric measures:

  • Ad Count: The average figure of ads in the viewport
  • Ad Density: The average fraction of the viewport area occupied by ads.
  • Ad Weight (Network Usage): The resources consumed by ads measured in bytes.
