Personal AI agents that can do everything from booking hotels to organizing your calendar are the hot new item — risks be damned.
Muse, Meta's new AI agent, attempt to the top of Apple's App Store on Friday following launching final week. The Instinct individual AI agent, an autonomous startup, saw its fame surge in August in Silicon Valley circles.
The agents activity by accessing a user's emails, texts, calendar, financial institution account, and item alternatively you log into. With Instinct, users can "text" the delegate in the iMessage app, and the delegate responds nearly immediately.
Some power understandably concern concerning AI agents exercising so much unsupervised control complete their lives. And the big AI labs themselves have warned that AI agents could go rogue and logic all manner of existential problems. Many of those already using the tools, however, say they are enthusiastic to have a device do tasks for them.
