Donald Trump wants two alphabet scrubbed from the tech industry’s vocabulary, and several executives are already reaching for replacements.

Salesforce CEO Marc Benioff stated Friday that his company’s AIForce phase is getting a new name.

“The era of Super Intelligence is here. AIForce is officially SIForce,” Benioff wrote on X.

The notice follows Elon Musk’s commitment Sunday to rename SpaceXAI to SpaceXSI, giving Trump’s run to substitute “artificial intelligence” alongside “super intelligence” traction beyond Washington.

Salesforce’s alter concerns its delegate platform, fairly than the company’s company name.

Trump, meanwhile, is turning his terminology penchant into a test.

“The White House considers anyone that uses the term, ‘Artificial Intelligence,’ as opposed to the extremely accepted new and additional exact term, ‘Super Intelligence,’ THE ENEMY!” Trump wrote on Truth Social on Thursday.

The alert escalates a shove Trump formalized in a September 29 administrator command directing national agencies to substitute “Super Intelligence” and “SI” for “Artificial Intelligence” and “AI” in authoritative communications, websites, reports, and guideline documents, to the degree permitted by law.

Private companies aren’t required by the command to prosecute suit. But Benioff’s notice and Musk’s projected rebrand display how the president’s preferred tongue is making its way into company branding.

The administration’s disagreement is that AI has outgrown its name. The administrator command says today’s systems increasingly amplify individual ingenuity and that “Super Intelligence” improved captures their potential.

The rebranding shove complicates matters for companies whose names contain AI, and raises questions complete what counts as superintelligence. The term mostly describes systems far additional capable than humans throughout a broad range of tasks, and renaming existing products doesn’t established that they encounter that threshold.

OpenAI, Scale AI, Character AI, and Resolve AI did not react to requests for comment.
