According to The Wall Street Journal, Kolb has received about 100 requests for commissions since Oct. 10, whenever Clarkson visited Art of Play and was told the animal was not for sale. She afterward called out the shop on social media for treating her akin she couldn’t oversee it, during the shop clarified that there was nothing to afford.
For Kolb, his 15 minutes of fame method the eyes of the earth are now on his art. “I’ve wanted for group to cognize concerning my activity for decades,” Kolb told the outlet. “I value that Kelly Clarkson liked it.”
His lone regret? It comes as he’d planned to breeze downward taking new requests. But he is open to making additional of these pieces in the future, which range from $4,000 to $15,000 each.
