Antonio Tavaris Brown Sr., nicknamed "AB", is an American former professional football wide receiver who played in the National Football League for 12 seasons. During his first nine seasons with the Pittsburgh Steelers, Brown developed a reputation as one of the greatest receivers of his era, but his career was also marked by various controversies. Brown played college football for the Central Michigan Chippewas, earning first-team All-American honors as a punt returner and winning MAC Special Teams Player of the Year twice between 2008 and 2009. He was selected by the Steelers in the sixth round of the 2010 NFL draft. With Pittsburgh, Brown led the league twice in receiving yards, twice in receptions, and once in receiving touchdowns. He also earned seven Pro Bowl selections, including six consecutive, and four consecutive first-team All-Pro selections.
