Jon Bernthal

Jonathan Edward Bernthal is an American actor. Known for playing brash, hard-edged, ethically complex characters, he first achieved prominence for his portrayal of Shane Walsh on the AMC horror drama series The Walking Dead. He went on to portray Frank Castle / The Punisher in Marvel Cinematic Universe media beginning with the second season of Daredevil, before starring in his own spin-off series The Punisher. He later starred in the first season of the revival series Daredevil: Born Again, the Disney+ television special The Punisher: One Last Kill which he co-wrote, and the film Spider-Man: Brand New Day. Bernthal has starred in multiple films including World Trade Center, Day Zero, Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian, The Ghost Writer, The Wolf of Wall Street, Fury, Sicario, The Accountant, Baby Driver, Ford v Ferrari, King Richard, Origin, The Accountant 2, and The Odyssey.
