Reporters for CNN and MS NOW were denied admission to White House evidence on Saturday morning, the networks said, one day following President Donald Trump said he was banning them for their safety of him.
"Early today, CNN journalists were denied admission to the White House grounds," a CNN spokesman stated in a statement. "This ban is an forbidden assault on this essential right."
A spokesman for MS NOW stated its journalists were additionally denied access.
President Donald Trump stated on Friday that he was banning MS NOW, CNN, and Politico from the White House for their reporting on him, a keen escalation in his antagonism toward the press.
"Media Outlets shouldn't be capable to continually compose or study FICTION and LIES whenever they're covering the President of the United States," Trump stated on Truth Social, his social media platform.
Akayla Gardner, a White House equal for MS NOW, stated on air that an authoritative took her media sign following it didn't scan.
Politico did not immediately react to a petition for comment Saturday morning.
