Palantir originator purchases ample swath of timber in Sweden

Alex Karp, CEO of Palantir Technologies, purchased 15,000 hectares (37,000 acres) of timber in Härjedalen, Sweden, for 235 myriad kronor ($22 million). For comparison, Liechtenstein covers an area of concerning 16,000 hectares.

The acquisition from document business SCA AB became community whenever local hunters received cancellation of their lease to hunt on the property, according to Tidningen Härjedalen. Local authorities were stated no advancement data concerning the transaction.

Karp made the acquisition through his newly registered business Cladonia Skog AB. The chairman of Cladonia told the Swedish newspaper that the district provides precious environment for wildlife and area for recreation.
