2026 World Series

2026 World Series is the upcoming championship series of Major League Baseball's 2026 season. The 122nd edition of the World Series, the best-of-seven playoff series will be played between the American League champion and the National League champion Milwaukee Brewers. The series is scheduled to begin on October 23, with a possible Game 7 scheduled for October 31. It will be the first World Series since 2016 in which neither team is based in either California or Texas. The Brewers advanced to their second overall World Series after sweeping the two-time defending champ Los Angeles Dodgers. They won their first National League pennant in franchise history, and their second overall after winning the American League pennant in 1982. They are seeking their first World Series title in franchise history after losing in 1982 against the St. Louis Cardinals in seven games, and will have home-field advantage due to their league-best record.
