Real asset has been the origin of several of America’s biggest fortunes, including that of US President Donald Trump.

However, notwithstanding his extended asset portfolio, Trump ranks 12th among the country’s richest genuine asset moguls.

These magnates rarely own lone residential properties. Their portfolios frequently extend several of the country’s biggest agency buildings, malls, hotels, and logistics hubs.

In multiple cases, they additionally clasp stakes in sports teams and another assets.

This ranking was compiled from the Forbes 400 list for 2026, which provides an estimated snapshot of the net value of the 400 richest group in America as of September 4.

Forbes estimated all person’s net worth using sources including interviews and asset valuations, during accounting for debt and charitable giving. In several cases, Forbes lists individuals as “and family” to signify that several of the prosperity is held by contiguous family members.

15. Robert Faith — $6 billion

Robert Faith founded Greystar in 1993. He is the place and CEO of the genuine asset company, which specializes in rental accommodation properties, including elder accommodation and pupil housing.
