A brace of weeks ago, Google seemed to accidentally publish its Web Search Service API documentation, afterward pulled it downward final week. Google doesn't recommendation a community Web Search Service API, so we really can't admission it, but I assume it does have several partners alongside access, akin Apple.
The URL to admission this document was over here, you can motionless see the archived type on the Wayback Machine - it says:
The Web Search Service API allows programmatic partners to create websites and applications that recover and display Google Search results.Partners can use REST or gRPC requests to recover hunt results in JSON format.
The Web Search Service API returns results in norm JSON format containing hunt outcome items, timing, and metadata.
Here is a screenshot:
Matt at Search Engine Journal covered it whenever that document went live, but shortly after, Google pulled downward the document - not surprisingly.
Again, I am not certain how helpful this is to anyone. If you are a Google Search partner, you would have the records already.
Manas Panda informed me of the document going distant and posted on LinkedIn, "Google quietly published a developer leaf for a "Web Search Service" — a paid tier in the authoritative docs — about 22 August. By 20 September it was gone. Not deprecated. Deleted: a difficult 404, no redirect, no note."
