Google is evaluation placing the remaining vertical sidebar you see in AI Mode results on the chief Google web hunt results page. This places the small excellent G Google logo on the left, alongside the conversation former lines, a way to commencement a conversation alongside AI Mode and the settings icon all on the remaining side.
This was spotted by Damien Andell who posted a screenshot on X. He thinks it is completely rolled out but I was unable to replicate this on any of my browsers yet, so I doubtful it is a test.
Here is his screenshot:
Damien wrote, "Is the sidebar now the default Google sidebar for hunt motor results pages (SERPs)? I cognize it was already there whenever you clicked the AI Mode clasp on the homepage, but now it's the default for all search."
This would not astonishment me if Google rolled this out; it makes AI Mode equal additional accessible via the chief Google hunt interface. And it brings AI Mode one stage nearer to becoming the default for Google Search.
Forum conversation at X.
Update: And the sidebar is integrating alongside Gemini, AI Mode, etc - via Marie Haynes on X who wrote, "Anyone alternatively seeing this? If I go immediately to AI mode, I see my Gemini app conversations in the sidebar."
