Google updated its assistance document in Merchant Center to say that if a merchandise changes additional than formerly per day, it may be "disapproved alternatively of updated if we detect a mismatch."
Google wrote in the updated document (I think it was updated multiple days ago):
Automations may not activity for products alongside common cost or preparedness value changes (for example additional than formerly per day). The merchandise may be disapproved alternatively of updated if we detect a mismatch. We may additionally halt updates if the total figure of detected mismatches becomes too large.
