Many eyes were expected to be on Massachusetts' Gillette Stadium this weekend, anywhere Ed Sheeran was set to execute Friday and Saturday — but Mother Nature had another plans.
Sheeran's two shows at Gillette were canceled because of the expected serious climate hitting the East Coast this weekend.
It came a small complete a week following the stadium's owner, billionaire Robert Kraft, was instrumental in Macklemore's removal from Sheeran's Loop Tour following the rapper made pro-Palestinian comments at an before show.
Sheeran stated that following he was told Kraft and another stadium owners would cancel his shows at their venues if he didn't eliminate Macklemore, his promoter chose to autumn the rapper.
Kraft confirmed he had barred Macklemore from his stadium, telling Rolling Stone on September 14 that the stadium is focused on "providing a welcoming surroundings for all guests and ensuring that all events held at our venue do not provision a phase for dislike speech," and stated Macklemore had "crossed that line."

New York Gov. Kathy Hochul declared a province of emergency, as did New Jersey Gov. Mikie Sherrill. ABC7 reported the storm this weekend could bring "damaging winds, important coastal flooding, dense rain, journey disruptions, and possible power outages."
The cancellations cap a turbulent duration for Sheeran, who stated he had informed "the worst week" of his existence fair final week.
