Alexandr Wang stated he had difficulty focusing during latest Meta meetings.

"I would fair akin think of a meme and I'd be akin 'Oh God, I have to get this out,'" Wang stated in a latest discussion alongside podcaster David Senra, adding that his coworkers were "somewhat surprised" at the buzz his posts were generating.
"It really made an effect on growth," he stated of the posts, "which is benevolent of hilarious."
Much has been stated concerning Meta's chief AI officer and his disorderly X feed, which the 29-year-old has crammed alongside occasionally off-color yet invariably eccentric references to Muse, Meta's individual AI aide that sent the company's inventory soaring and redefined the market for AI tools.
In his discussion alongside Senra, though, Wang stated that his frequently spur-of-the-moment posts served a broader goal — to create Meta "cool again."
"Despite having akin these amazing pieces of traditional application akin Instagram and Facebook, historically, Meta was not cool," he said. "I remembered that the net rewards risk."
After launching on September 8, Muse attempt to the top of Apple's app shop 10 days later, surpassing ChatGPT. Meta says Muse can help users research, inhabit out forms, buy items online, publish eatery reservations, discover a dog sitter, and nexus alongside services specified as email, calendars, Spotify, Instagram, and OpenTable.
The app marked Meta's archetypal prosperous breakthrough in AI tech, following its Llama and Spark LLM models unsuccessful to discover niches already filled by extensively used models from OpenAI and Anthropic.
With Muse, Meta established a mostly untapped aureate quarry — although competing AI agents from OpenClaw and Instinct already existed in Silicon Valley circles. Muse, however, had the advantage of coming from a famous business alongside multiple milliard possible customers already signed up on Instagram and Facebook.
And the internet, weary of staid pronouncements from CEOs who were perchance formerly chill but are now entering their 40s (Mark Zuckerberg is 42), welcomed the boundless energy of a young administrator newly endowed alongside power in the AI era.
"It was a lot of fun," Wang said. "There were akin a few tweets anywhere I fair didn't think that much concerning it and fair said, 'Fuck it, post.'"
